Yoga Nidra Workshop Series

July 15 @ 7:00 pm
$35
Yoga Nidra Overland Park

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice designed to bring the body into deep relaxation while the mind remains gently aware. Unlike a traditional yoga class, there is little to no movement involved. Participants simply lie comfortably on the floor while being guided through breathing, body awareness, visualization, and mindfulness techniques that help calm the nervous system and quiet the constant mental chatter of everyday life. Yoga Nidra is accessible to everyone no yoga experience or flexibility required.

Many people leave a Yoga Nidra session feeling deeply rested, grounded, and mentally refreshed. In fact, practitioners often describe a 30–45 minute Yoga Nidra practice as feeling equivalent to several hours of deep sleep because of the profound state of relaxation it can create for both the body and mind. This workshop is designed to help you reduce stress, improve relaxation, create emotional balance, and reconnect with yourself in a peaceful and supportive environment.
