IN Power Journey: A Yoga Retreat
Find Your Inner Peace
Refresh your mind, body and spirit during a three-day, two-night yoga retreat in a peaceful setting just outside Kansas City. We’ll be staying in a large colonial farmhouse located on five picturesque acres surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland on rolling hills.
This retreat is for anyone with an interest in personal growth and exploration. No yoga experience is required; all our sessions will be taught to all levels. Yin and power styles will be offered, as well as an off-site excursion to Weston Bend State Park for a nature hike and a chakra workshop with a healing arts expert.
In addition to yoga, meditation, and inquiry you’ll enjoy community with like-minded yogis as well as delicious, macro-friendly, and nourishing meals and snacks prepared daily, featuring dinners from KC’s own Cafe Gratitude.
When:
4 p.m. Friday, September 27 through 11 a.m. Sunday, September 29.
Where:
Near Dearborn, Missouri, about 20 minutes north of Kansas City International Airport. Our home base for the retreat is The Journey Home, just far enough from busy city life and only an hour’s drive from our studio at IN Power.

Chris Fickett is a yogi, a writer and editor, a marathon runner, a hiker, a husband and dog dad. He started my yoga journey in 2018 to run faster but soon learned this practice enriches more than our muscles. Chris completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (200 RYT) certification in July 2022. In addition to teaching yoga at IN Power, he has also co-led workshops based around the book 40 Days to Personal Revolution by Baron Baptiste.
His intention is to inspire my students’ sense of possibility — spiritually, mentally and physically — on and off their mats.
